Kajol returns to Durga Puja pandal with Rani Mukerji, Sumona Chakraborty also see photos


actor Kajol Returned to a Durga Puja pandal in Mumbai on Thursday. This was Kajol’s third visit to a pandal in three days. Kajol’s cousin was also seen in the pandal, actor Rani Mukherjee.

On the last day of Navratri, Kajol arrived for worship in a green sari. She tied her hair in simple braids and wore a choker necklace. Kajol posed for pictures with her cousin Sharbani Mukherjee and other relatives. The queen was seen posing for the paparazzi in front of a Durga idol in a bright yellow sari.

TV actress Sumona Chakraborty was also present at the pandal on Thursday. While posing for the pictures, she was seen wearing matching bangles in a red sari.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, Kajol attended the festival along with her mother Tanuja, sister Tanisha Mukherjee and their son Yug. Kajol also keeps sharing her pictures from ‘Pujo’ on Instagram. Sharing her picture from the first day of puja, Kajol wrote, “Started all beautiful and then someone made fun of me.” In the first picture, Kajol is seen posing beautiful in a pink saree. However, in the next photo, she is seen laughing out loud.

On Wednesday, Kajol along with her son Yug attended the puja. Both were seen holding hands as soon as they entered the venue and Yug did not leave his mother’s side. Apart from Yug, Kajol and her husband Ajay are also parents to daughter Nyasa, who studies in Singapore.

Kajol recently announced her next film The Last Hurray, which is being directed by veteran actor Revathi. Kajol wrote on Instagram, “I am very happy to announce my next film directed by me super awesome Revathi.. called The Last Hurray. A heartwarming story that made me instantly yes. Forced to say! Can I hear a ‘yippie’ please?”

According to a statement, the film is inspired by a true story and real characters and revolves around a mother, Sujata, who faced the most challenging situations with a smile.

Excited to be joining Revathi for this story, Kajol shared, “When I heard the story of The Last Hurray, I immediately connected with Sujatha and thought her journey was incredibly inspiring. I think That it is a beautiful journey and it deserves to be shared with everyone. And for this story being directed by Revathi for me has given me more strength to play the role of Sujatha and show my strength.”
