The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday said that the date sheet for class 10th, class 12th class 1 board exams will be released on October 18. The board said that first the examination of minor subjects will be conducted, after that the examination of major subjects will be conducted.

The board has said that all the exams will be offline.

With regard to Term 1 exam, the board has stated that each exam will be of 90 minutes duration. The board has said that keeping in mind the winter session, the examination will start at 11.30 am instead of 10.30 am. The reading time for all categories of candidates will be 20 minutes instead of 15 minutes.

Practical exams will be conducted before the end of term exam.

The final result of class 10, 12 will be declared after the second session examination.

This year, the board has divided the academic session into two parts with about 50% syllabus in each session. The board had said in July, “This has been done to increase the chances of the board conducting the class X and XII examinations at the end of the academic session.”
